Poor Boy

from DISCONNECT by Natalie Claro

/

about

Poor Boy(electronic lullaby)– A poem about a homeless child- but sung. Claro plans to use this song to raise awareness for homeless LGBT youth kicked out from their homes.

lyrics

Real reflections still like day
Moon revisits the same
I gleam like the newborn grace
All the while we wait

"Stay"
I wait

Sidewalk breaks and chipped old paint
Other side is placed
Look for golden sun and rays
Counting down I say

Cars pass by the wind is mine
But there's time to smile
City lights inspiring
The poem's meant to be sang

Morn will come resume the same
I will fly away
My friend, he will come again
Adventure will take place

"Stay"
I wait
